Glitch Machine’s Final Version was released on November 1st 2024! Below you can read updates from 2024 showing when each new feature was added. All features are Included in v1124.
November 2024 Update (Final Update)
- Control Enhancements: Added easy controls for CRT Bend effects and quick controls for Glitch Machine effects in the main Glitch Machine composition.
- Preset Buttons: Added preset buttons using a script, meaning you can easily click between effect combos
- Folder Organization: Organized files into folders like “Stuff You Can Delete” (demo art, logos), “Glitch Machine FX Files” (essential assets), and “Glitch Machine” (main comps).
- New Compositions & Folders:
- “INPUT” comp replaces “YOUR WORK GOES HERE” (name change only).
- “Individual Effects” folder allows isolated effect control.
- “2023 GLITCH MACHINE” for original effect instance.
- “Dithered Noise Effect” folder with controls for noise-based dithering.
- “CRT Bend Effect” and “Chromatic Aberration” folders contain isolated and editable versions of these effects.
- “Dithered Glow Chrome Text” and “Harsh CRT Screen Effect” compositions added for specialized effects.
- Feature Additions:
- Expanded CRT bend effect glow settings.
- New downscale option (256×256 and 1024×1024 for Windows).
- Optional tint adjustment, toggle-able input layers, and a “Custom Input” comp for user-created input.
