Printer Trash is 100+ printed textures created with two inkjet printers, one of which i broke making this asset pack! Every texture from this pack is scanned in at 1200dpi and each texture is up to 9900w x 14,000h px in size.
Created with intentional paper jams, double printed paper, depleted ink cartridges, wet paper and more, this pack is a series of mild printer experiments gone wrong.
Each texture in this asset pack was scanned at a high resolution of 1200dpi for maximum detail and clarity. The dimensions of the textures vary up to 9900 pixels in width and 14,000 pixels in height.
The creation of each texture asset in Printer Trash involved a deliberate exploration of various printer effects including purposely induced paper jams, double printing on the same sheet of paper, printing using depleted ink cartridges, the use of damp paper, and individual mixed media treatments on each piece of paper.
The resulting textures work well with most blend modes to create grunge background effects or even add a sense of tactile depth to digital artworks.
