I told you I was gonna support this app!

Dither Boy is STILL actively supported and developed, with regular tutorials and content planned all through 2025. There’s also a Discord community where other users share their dithered art, ideas, and inspiration.

Version 3.0 of course welcomes new users, but if you have been around since v1 then I hope you are enjoying the support and updates! In just two updates, Dither Boy evolved from image-only to a tool that supports both advanced video and full vector outputs.

What’s Next

Almost every major requested feature is now included. The only exception is one last feature (feel free to take a guess if you’ve been following the updates). Dither Boy will continue to improve and remain the best place to dither your work if you’re a creative!
